Pacific Union College forward Kameron Barnes was selected as the California Pacific Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the dates of January 12^th through 19^th, 2009.

The Alvarado, Texas native averaged 16.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in a 2-1 week for the Pioneers. The Pioneers beat Simpson University, in California Pacific Conference play, 67-61 on Tuesday, lost to CSU East Bay 80-54 in conference play on Thursday in Hayward and then beat UC Santa Cruz 74-64, in non-conference play, on Saturday in Angwin.  

Pacific Union College continues their 2008-2009 conference schedule on Thursday as they take on Holy Names University in Oakland.
