William Jessup University guard Rebekah Calvert was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the dates of December 15^th through 22^nd, 2008.

Calvert averaged 19 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4.5 steals in a 1-1 week for the Warriors as they continued their California Pacific Conference schedule. The Warriors lost 62-57 to Simpson University on Thursday in Redding and beat CSU East Bay 95-93 in Hayward on Saturday.
